KID KONNECT
Producer. Fan First. Sound without borders.
The Journey
It started with a moment of pure disbelief. Walking into his college dorm room one day, Kid Konnect stumbled upon his roommate hunched over a laptop — not a rack of gear, not an MPC or an ASR, just a laptop — making beats. At the time, that seemed impossible. Music production, as he understood it, lived in hardware you could touch and program with your hands. But there was his roommate, building tracks in Fruity Loops 3, and everything changed in an instant.
Up until that point, the plan was to rap. He wanted to be an MC. But now there was a different door open — one that let him build the foundation, not just rhyme over it. He picked up FL Studio and never looked back.
What followed was years of collaborations with artists across genres, styles, and scenes. Every session, every track lives in the catalog today not just as a production credit, but as a memory — a time machine back to a specific moment, a specific energy in the room. One thing has remained constant throughout: the artists he's worked with most are almost always ones he was already a fan of before they ever stepped into the studio together. That genuine admiration bleeds into the music every time.
The Origin
It started with a laptop, a dorm room, and Fruity Loops 3. Before that, he wanted to rap. After that moment, he wanted to build the whole world the music lives in.
The Sound
Call it hip-hop if you need a box, but it doesn't stay in one. The goal has never been genre — it's always been emotion. If a track makes you feel something, it did its job.
The Collaborations
Every artist in the catalog was chosen for a reason. More often than not, he was already a fan before they ever worked together — and that respect for the artist's craft shows up in every session.
The Memories
Every song in this catalog is a time machine. Press play and you're back in that room, that session, that moment. That's what makes this more than a discography — it's a life in music.

Recognition
2010 NEA Award — International Producer of the Year
After several nominations, Kid Konnect took home the NEA Award for International Producer of the Year in 2010 — a recognition of a sound that had crossed borders and resonated far beyond where it started.
Why This Catalog Exists
In an industry that moves fast and forgets even faster, it's easy for work to get buried — credits lost, contributions forgotten, songs that deserved more just fading into the noise. This catalog is a refusal to let that happen. It's a record of the work, the artists, the sessions, and the sounds that have defined a career built one beat at a time. Not a highlight reel — the whole story. Because every track in here meant something when it was made, and it still does.
